    I just watched/listened to Elena Khagba play the Grandjany Aria in Classic Style with a small chamber orchestra and organ. The accompainment really drowned her beautiful arpeggio section completely out. If only the conductor had perhaps gone to the back ( of the ancient church) to hear how the balance was, perhaps then he would have realized the soloist needed to be heard! The recording I have of Taka Kling performing this (on a vinyl LP) with the Louisville Kentucky Symphony is still the best performance I have ever heard. I wish
