    Good afternoon,

    A neighbor of mine is selling a cute little folk harp for what seems like a reasonable price. Since I have been interested in learning the harp for years, could someone take a look at this and see if it can be ID’d or at least if it would be appropriate for a beginner? Any info on this would be so greatly appreciated.

    Hrm. I didn’t realize this was an issue. The image is correct and not flipped. So, you would say it’s a one off or a kit of some kind?

    It depends somewhat on how much the asking price is, and whether the harp is in tune and playable. Are there any harpists in your area who could try it out for you? I’m not saying it’s a no-go, but I would proceed with caution when buying any harp not from a recognized builder.
