On 6-17-09, the Antiques Roadshow featured a beautiful Naderman harp from about 1776, appraised at $60,000 (auction value), with a full explanation of how an alert and savvy harpist obtained it
This was discussed either here or on harplist at yahoo groups. The appraiser was a violin appraiser, and from what I read it was an appraisal that was totally wrong. I know now, it was on yahoogroups, the harplist.
It may or may not be worth $60,000, but I’m willing to bet it’s worth a heck of a lot more than $2,400. What a deal! Does anyone know if it is playable? Or does the harpist just use it for display?
