I practice the best in the evening, but since I’m homeschooled, I thankfully have the opportnity to practice all throughout the day. However, when I was recently in a hotel room practicing for auditions, the man next door said the harp was too loud at 7:30pm. You would think that this is an underhanded compliment, but I need to practice in order to play well in any situation. How do touring harpists practice in the hotel? How do harpists practice in an apartment?
