Hi everyone. There is a Horngacher Orchestra model harp for sale in the Boston area. I’m not selling it. I just know about it and went to look at it recently. It’s a semi-grand with 46 strings, and is about 40 years old. It’s in good playing condition and sounds great. The neck is quite warped and will have to be replaced in the next few years, and the action is pretty clicky and will need re-riveting at some point. But it works fine at the moment, and the owner is offering it for $15,000. The gilding is in very good condition. It was used a lot, but well taken care of. If anyone is interested, contact me privately. I can give you the contact information.

How heavy is it? My colleague was taking care of one and said it was very heavy on her shoulder.
