Harp to practice on in San Francisco?

    Hi harpists!

I’m moving to San Francisco, but my harp won’t be following me for a couple of months – I don’t necessarily need a full time rental, but would like to practice at least a few hours a week (happy to pay as necessary). Does anyone know of any music schools, etc that might have somewhere I could practice? Teachers who may let me use?

    Thanks!

    Hello, Sara —

Are you looking for a pedal or a lever harp? I have a 36-string Cithara Nova available. I’m in Alameda (across the bay).

    Hi Patricia!

I’m looking for a pedal harp at this time, though considering maybe re-learning lever if there are no pedal harps available.

    Hello Sara

There is an excellent harp store in Walnut Creek — Harps, Etc. Bart goes to Walnut Creek from San Francisco and it is just a couple blocks of walking to get to Harps, Etc. from the Bart Station. Quite possibly they would rent time on a harp in the shop.
