    Brand new Salzedo. Second octave A string just won’t tune? The string won’t go in tune. Tried gut and nylon and the string will either break or stay really slack.?? Is something wrong with the pin on the harp

    Technically there are 3 possible reasons. 1. String is not properly locked onto tuning pin. 2. Tuning pin is not firmly pressed into the neck. 3. String knot is not properly tied.

    Thank you! Turns out it was 2. Had to push pin into the neck. Thank you again
