I am looking into repertoire for harp and voice for a Harp Rep Class project. I was wondering if anyone had any favorite pieces that they love to play and is really worth looking at. Thanks!

Dunno if this fits the bill or not, but I just heard two versions of “Mignonne, Allons Voir Si la Rose” on YouTube, one for soprano with Renaissance harp, one for Mezzo with lute. The harpist is gealach74, Vicente La Camera. The lute duo is called Mignon-something. In both cases, the accompanist is basically supporting the singer, but what’s wrong with that? It’s a beautiful and moving piece.

Charlotte Church recorded “Three Welsh Bird Songs- Y Gylfinir”, harp and voice on her album, “Voice of an Angel”. Gorgeous pieces!

The pedal harp part for Ribbon in the Sky by Stevie Wonder arranged by Stephanie Bennett looks pretty intense.
