Gerald Goodman died recently. In recent years, he was a harp dealer. Prior to that, he worked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Prior to that, he was a well-known entertainer of the harp, performing frequently in Florida and other places. He did many kinds of shows of quite a range. He studied harp with Alice Chalifoux and Carlos Salzedo. His family owned the Goodman matzo/noodle company in Cleveland, where he grew up. He was a charismatic personality, and recorded LPs of his harp playing and also singing.
