Anybody know how we in the US can see Gareth Thomas’s appearances on the UK tv show, Born to Shine?

I wondered why you’d be posting about a rugby player on a harp forum, then decided to Google to find the Gareth Thomas who’s a harpist, and low and behold, the rugby star is learning to play the harp!

“If I don’t get something right I’m swearing and kicking … But you have to keep calm with the harp…”

    He’s

Unless they have an app for itv in the app store, you can’t.

And that video won’t play in the US, even on a desktop with flash. It’s a licensing thing.

Hi, I have now put the clips up on my YouTube site so you can see Gareth playing there. It was such great fun! http://youtu.be/AzT-9i2HnV8

Sorry that you could not see at the ITV web site if you were outside the UK!

    Happy Harping, Ben

Thanks for the video, I really enjoy it. Watching an athelic learn how to play the harp is fun; yet, to me, it’s more interesting to see Ben Creighton Griffiths playing. My first impression of Ben was the 5 years old boy playing New Blues with a super serious face on Youtube, I can’t believe he’s already 15 and is truly born to shine.

    Bravo, Ben!

I haven’t watched the whole video yet, but Gareth is someone I really admire and you as well! I’m sure it was a great experience. By the way, is that your Salvi Minerva, in green? The harp looks and sounds fantastic.

Also, maybe it’s just me, being American, but I could hardly understand Gareth when he spoke…made me laugh a little.
