    Hello,

I am a PhD student, studying the interactions between the musician and the
instrument in the case of the concert harp. My current work
consists in the analysis of the musical gesture depending on the musical
context, using a motion capture system.

I am currently looking for harpists, who would be interested in
participating in this experiment between March 28 and April 8, at IDMIL
laboratory, McGill University, Montreal. Musicians will be asked to
    perform
“The minstrel’s adieu to his native land” (John Thomas) and a candenza
(The Nutcracker, Tchaïkovsky). One measurement session will last about
    one hour and a
half. I will send the scores and more details to each harpist taking
    part in the study.
At last, each harpist will have a financial compensation for their participation.

Feel free to contact me if you are interested in participating or if you have any questions.
    Finally,
if you know other harpists (professional or student) who would be
interested in our study, feel free to give them my contact!

    Thank you very much,

    Delphine Chadefaux.
