Hello everybody! I want to rent a harp for the next months and I found one Erard Harp. Are those harps good for studying? Is the string tension etc ok? Thanks!

I learned on my school’s Gothic Erard and am generally fond of Erards.

Are you referring to an antique Erard, or one of the modern ones made by Salvi, I think, that had “Erard” as the model name?

Thank you very much for your answers. I am referring to an old antique Erard. Thanks again!

Well, it’s a rental right? If it appeals to you, why not?

It is rental, but it is also a 12 months agreement. So if it isn’t good for practicing I will have a problem 🙂

    Thanks for your answer!
