    What electronic tuners have folks found effective?

    I’m still toiling without a tuner. Anyone else not use one?

    I use a Korg tuner with a clip-on pickup, and I really like it.

    Thanks Allison. The only time I’ve made use of e-tuners is when playing (double-bass) on stage–when I couldn’t actually hear my instrument.

    Is it actually useful to fine tune?–or does it just get you in the ballpark, necessitating fine tuning with your ears..?

    It seems pretty exact to me. Every once in a while I need to tweak a bit, but not much. 🙂
