Do you remember the fable of the boy who cried “Wolf!” just to get attention? When a real wolf appeared, nobody listened to him. This is an analogy for the person who urgently requested help for Repertoire on Harp Column. I spent some time scanning my markings and sending them to her, never to hear back. I sent a couple of messages to see if she had received them. The next time she needs something, there may be nobody willing to help her again. Once you have asked for something specific in a limited time frame from the kind folks at Harp Column, the least you can do is check to see if anyone responded. Email notification would be a huge help. There. My rant is done.

I totally agree with you. A simple note goes a long way to keeping up good will….

And Harp Column seems to be one of those rare places where good manners still exist so it’s particularly galling when such things happen here.
