Would any college/university harp instructors kindly be willing to

share ideas for harp minor syllabi. I’ve got repertoire for majors,

but I could use some suggestions for my minors regarding goals for

    each semester.

It sounds like Lucile Lawrence’s Pathfinder Studies would work well, along with Salzedo’s Preludes for Beginners, Preludes Intimes and Short Stories. How about Beethoven’s Variations on a Swiss Air and Dewey Owens’s Irish Folksong arrangements?

Alwyn’s crepescule, Britten interlude, Tournier’s images or preludes? These are all pieces of a similar level to the Beethoven….I am also not a college instructor, but it is just an opinion…

I just purchased Alec Templeton’s Rigaudon and Sicilenne, and they would be perfect pieces for your program.

How about Trois Petites Pi?ces Fa?iles by Hasselmans, and Trois Pi?ces Fa?iles by

Grandjany? They are very pretty, and quite manageable for beginners to intermediates.

There are also “pi?ces fa?iles” by Reni?.
