For technique, simple tunes, and some great pictures and diagrams, and especially if you do not know how to read music well yet, “Play the Harp Beautifully” by Pamela Bruner is a nice starting point.

Sylvia Woods “Teach Yourself to Play the Folk Harp” will work quite well for a Harpsicle as well.

Take a look at “Thumbs Up” by harpist and teacher Kathy Bundock Moore. It is for adult beginners, and has many illustrations of correct and incorrect hand positions, as well as good learning exercises and pieces. Many U.S. dealers have it.
