ABRSM – How do I find teaching resources?

Hello all, I am new here! Hope you can help. I have several adult students, a couple of whom want to start their ABRSM grades – but although I’m a professional harpist now I never actually did mine, I grew up in a world of folk and jazz and sort of acquired my theory and sight reading skills along the way. Where can I find the teaching resources to make sure I am covering everything the grade exams require?

Thanks Tacye – I actually hadn’t even thought of that, how ridiculous! Sometimes it takes someone to point out the obvious! Anyway, you’re quite right, it’s all up there.

If you’re residing in the UK, the ABRSM centre themselves host workshops how to teach (for beginners and professionals). You can have a look on http://www.abrsm.org if you’re interested

You can find additional teaching material there too.

What I did when I wanted to start teaching ABRSM materials is to do all the theory books and play all the pieces myself.
