What L&H harp has 42 strings? Is it the old style 11?

Is it a single or double action? The first style 11 was a single action.

Don’t really know. It’s a harp that is for sale and if you shoot me an e-mail I can send you the info. that is given.

Harps International has a single-action 11 with 42 strings listed, if that’s the harp you mean, Kay.

    Hi Barbara,

No, this is a private sale that a friend sent to me this morning. Nothing is said about the year or style of the harp. Just that is is a L&H 42 stg pedal harp, extended sound board in “Like new condition”. I have a phone # that I might call for more info. Just wondering what L&H pedal harp had/has 42 strings.

Why don’t you write LH and ask them?

Or, easier still, ring the seller.

Hmmm, the 14, 15 and 18 both had 42 strings. The 12 had 41 strings. The original style 11 has 47 strings and still does today. Unlesss it was a special build perhaps?
