Harpist Kristan Toczko will release her debut album featuring rock song covers on Feb. 16. Recorded on the Leaf Music record label, Rock Echoes will be available on all streaming platforms and via Bandcamp. Toczko will also release a few singles before Feb. 16. Her single “Love of My Life” by Queen is out now on Leaf Music.

Reflecting on the choice of the title Rock Echoes, Toczko says, “Upon discussing title options with my label, we wanted something descriptive and short that simultaneously conveyed edge, but also showed the sweetness of the harp. Rock Echoes spoke to the classics that will be featured in the album, as well as the much-loved songs that are ‘echoed’ back to you as covers on harp.”

Toczko says she has learned a lot throughout the process. “Before venturing into releasing my first full-length album, I had no idea the amount of work that would be involved,” she says. “Not only am I the performer, but I am also the arranger, recording engineer, audio editor, photographer (for half the photos in the booklet), graphic designer, writer, and social media marketer.”
