Lyon & Healy Harps has announced the required repertoire for its next competition, set to take place March 6–8, 2024, in Chicago. All competitors will perform Etude no. 6 by Eric Schmidt, Une châtelaine en sa tour by Gabriel Fauré, and Le jardin mouillé by Jacques de la Presle. The Awards are open to harpists of all nationalities, up to the age of 30 as of March 1, 2024. Applications are due January 15, 2024. The jury will select three winners who will each receive a $2,000 cash prize to further the their education, along with a $500 gift certificate to Lyon & Healy Harps.
The competition is held every two years. The three winners of the 2022 Lyon & Healy Awards were Juan Riveros, Lauren Swain, and Evelien Vaneysendeyk.
