Grammy Nom for Boston Symphony Chamber Players


The Boston Symphony Chamber Players have received a Grammy nomination for their recordingProfanes et Sacrées, which prominently features BSO principal harpist Jessica Zhou. The disc includes 20th century French chamber music, includingIntroduction and Allegro (Ravel, Maurice), and Sonata for harp, flute, and viola (Debussy, Claude). (Despite the name of the recording, the “Danses” are not included.) Other works included are Les Citations, diptych for oboe, harpsichord, double bass, and percussion, by Dutilleux; and Dixtuor, for wind quintet and string quintet.
