Kudos to Maeve Gilchrist for her shout-out in the The Telegraph’s May 5 list of Folk Music: Treats for Spring. Gilchrist is set to release her album 20 Chandler Street on May 20, and she “proves that the harp can take its place as a instrument to drive an album of uplifting modern music” according to The Telegraph‘s Martin Chilton. Also on the new disc is fiddle player Darol Anger. If you can’t wait to hear what she’s been up to, you can listen to this 2012 recording of Gilchrist and her band performing the title track. Enjoy!
