“Edmar Castaneda World Ensemble; Live at the Jazz Standard” is the latest release by Colombian jazz harpist Edmar Castaneda. The recording features Castaneda, performing on his Llanera style harp, with friends from around the world in a November 2014 concert at the famed jazz venue. “Each of [these] musicians is very special and brings to my music their experiences in life,” says Castaneda, who describes the album as “my prayer, translated in music, for the suffering of the human race. I want these songs to resound in heaven and bring us back the peace, love, and tolerance that we all need.”
