    Hi all, any tips for the Nutcracker Scene 10? Especially 5 bars before rehearsal 2 all the waytill rehearsal 3. Do you play it as written kr is there any tricks/rewrite?

    I studied this part with Judy Loman, and she came up with some great adaptations. I have some of these edits in Harp Column Music. I also wrote an article for harp Column some years ago called Cracking the Nutcracker. If you go to this link https://harpcolumn.com/music/all-music/artists/elizabeth-volpe-bligh/the-kingdom-of-sweets-from-nutcracker/ you can see the first page and it might help you see how we adapted it. Basically, treat it like the cadenza.

    Thank you Elizabeth. I assume for the Aphoteose we treat it like the cadenza as well?

    The Apotheosis – yes, we used the same idea.
