Harpist Kirsten Agresta Copely is nominated for a 2026 GRAMMY Award in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category for her recent New Age album, Kuruvinda, which had earned a silver medal in the Global Music Awards before its release on Aug. 1, 2025. “Inspired by the Sanskrit word for a flawed but radiant ruby, Kuruvinda reveals a journey to embrace imperfections, reminding us that every imperfection is part of our brilliance,” Agresta Copely says. (Agresta Copely previously received a 2024 GRAMMY nomination for her album Aquamarine.)
Other nominations in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category this year are According To The Moon by Cheryl B. Engelhardt, GEM, and the Dallas String Quartet; Into The Forest by Jahnavi Harrison; NOMADICA by Carla Patullo, featuring The Scorchio Quartet & Tonality; and The Colors In My Mind by Chris Redding. Results will be announced Feb. 1, 2026, at the 68th GRAMMY Awards.
