Searching tips: Search for listings by name or location in the directory search boxes below. Narrow your search using the filters to the left. You can also search by region using the links to the right. Search for other information such as school affiliations in the directory search box. (Note: the main site search box at the top right does not search on directory listing information.) Reminder to teachers: Since your directory information is public, anyone can contact you, including those who might not be legit. If an inquiry seems fishy, it's probably phishy. Be wary of scams.

My primary goal in teaching is to impart a love of music and learning to each and every student. I implement music theory regularly in lessons to give students the tools they need in order to pick up a piece of music and learn it for their own enjoyment. I strive in every lesson to make the learning process fun, relaxing and fulfilling for my students, while encouraging regular performance goals and benchmarks to keep motivation levels healthy.

Encouraging joy in music is my passion.  Although I’m a classically trained 40+ year veteran, I have a particularly large appetite for celtic and folk music. Beginners of all ages welcome. 🙂

Luzviminda (Minda) Keene is now teaching online and in person at her studio in the Dallas Metroplex.

Minda Keene began at the age of 25 studying harp with Patricia Pence-Sokoloff while enrolled for a piano major degree at Salem College in Winston-Salem, NC. “It was love at first sight and sound when I walked by the harp room on my way to the piano practice rooms. I met Patrician and signed up for harp lessons that same day!” reminisces Minda.
