I teach with a combination of music reading (with music theory included) and playing by ear. For harp technique I start with teaching some basics which are in common for many music styles (classical, ethnic, improvisation) - like hand position, fingering, tuning, caring for a harp,...) I teach various music styles, and am open to interests.

I do teach any level, from beginners to advanced, children to adults.
Harp is a great beginning instrument (because it sounds nice immediately) - but you need patience to develop your technique and repertoire. You don't need knowledge about music and/or other instruments before starting harp (...if you do have it already, it might help you).

I have rental harps available — all fully levered harps from 26 to 36 strings.

I also offer gettogethers with Students (& Friends) Harp Ensembles and collaborations with other instrumental students.
