What should a teacher do? I once discovered that a teacher is one who inspires. A good teacher helps develop and enrich every student, no matter what ability they arrive with initially. I believe that every person has an unlimited capability to learn music. My purpose in teaching is to bring out the areas that are strong and to find ways to develop the areas that are challenges.

I have 9 years of teaching experience to students ranging from 6 to 60 years of age, professional musicians to complete beginners who can’t read music. Over the years I’ve developed an understanding of the different needs and abilities of students and now I tailor my lessons to each individual. I don’t believe in talent, I believe in hard work and I believe that hard work can be made much lighter with the correct, individual approach.
