ParticipantJill Justice has a nice, more advanced version of this hymn in her “Christmas Celebrations” collection. I think it’s a pretty arrangement. http://www.justicesystemmusic.com/Publications/Index.php

ParticipantHi Frances,
How interesting, bet that would be a whole lot easier! I don’t have Beatrice Schroeder Rose’s book, but this makes me very interested in checking it out. 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing!!

ParticipantJust wanted to say one last time how much I appreciate this forum and everyone in the harp community here who is supportive and generous in sharing their time and experience with others!! I started this question knowing nothing about this piece, and now I feel confident and prepared to play this upcoming symphony concert!! Y’all are amazing and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all your input! 🙂

ParticipantThere’s a Barbara Brundage version of Claire de Lune that isn’t too hard or too simple, sounds pretty nice, and works on both pedal and lever harp.

ParticipantThanks so much, I did find the Salzedo version, I think, thanks to your help! 🙂 Still interested in taking a look at the Zingel, if anyone has information they could give me on that version, please feel free to e-mail me at rraharp@bellsouth.net! Really appreciate it!

ParticipantHi Katrina,
Thanks for sharing your input, I feel like I am getting a great education on this piece from so many who have more experience than I do on this piece! I would love to see the Zingel version, but have been unable to track down a copy. Do you have any idea where I could purchase this piece or get a copy of it? Thanks again, Rebekah

ParticipantHi Saul, Thanks for sharing what you know about the Salzedo version of this piece with me! Interesting that you located the part at Lyra, because they told me that they didn’t have it… Do you think this is definitely the same part that you have that works with the orchestral version? Thanks again for the advice, really appreciate it! 🙂

ParticipantThanks so much Elizabeth, for sharing your version, it looks fantastic! Also appreciate all the input from others as I get started on learning this part! Interesting that the Salzedo version was so well-known and required on audition lists, but doesn’t appear to be in-print or available anywhere anymore…?

ParticipantHi Carl, Thanks so much for your input, do you know if the Zingel arrangement is easily playable and/or available for purchase anywhere? Thanks! 🙂
