We print our music to a PDF file, then upload it on Fileshare, which gives you an HTML line of code that you copy and paste into Yola using their HTML widget. Let us know if this needs clarification.

We by no means have everything figured out, and maybe you already do this, but we go to Manage Page in upper left and there can arrange pages in any order by dragging them up or down in the list, and can drag pages under other pages. Can also add and delete pages there. Let us know how it goes.

Looked in their help section to see how to upload .pdf files, which is what our scores are. Had to open a Slideshare account, load the score there, which gives a link to copy and paste into Yola, using their HTML widget. Kind of time consuming but works.

Good idea there. Our site is pretty sparse, but we are slowly trying to put some scores on. You have really done well with your site. We have a hard time figuring out how to do things on it, but are trying.

About 7 years ago we started playing again after a 13 year break to get our kids launched. We had lost a whole lot of our ability, but didn’t take too long to get going. We added a bunch of new repertoire and really enjoyed playing again. So everyone is right that time off isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Who knows, if we hadn’t had the break maybe we would be burned out by now.

We use the 30 amp Cube with our Grand Harpsicles which come with built in pickups. Works great for us. It’s a stereo amp so we plug both harps into it. We play all our music together on the two harps. We haven’t needed to turn them up real high, so if we did maybe it would distort?

Good for you. Maybe we’ll have some questions for you about how to do things. Our goal is to put some scores of our original music on the site for anyone to use. Been meaning to do it for quite some time but other commitments keep getting in the way.

I think the pictures look great. Glad it’s working. That’s how we learn too, kind of like our arranging music, muddling our way.

You could resize the pictures. For websites they can be pretty small, like 100 KB or less.

Here is a tutorial from the site showing how to upload pictures. Went to their Help and searched “how to upload pictures.” Hope it works. It’s been a long time since we did our site, so don’t remember how we did it.

Wow your site looks great. Glad you like it. Wish we could offer some suggestions but we haven’t changed anything on ours for a long time. Will have to try working with it to remember what all we did.
