Korea International Harp Competition names winners

Virginia Pestugia of Italy, first prize winner of the 2022 KIHC Young Professional Division

The Korea International Harp Competition (KIHC) has announced the winners of this year’s online contest. Virginia Pestugia of Italy won first prize in the young professional division. Janice Hur (USA) won first prize in the youth division, and Serene Shiu-Ning Tu (USA) won first prize in the junior division. You can watch the winners’ performances on YouTube.

Co-directors Jung Kwak and María Luisa Rayan founded the competition to create an opportunity for young harpists from around the world to develop their skills and inspire each other. For more information, visit KIHC’s website.
