Hainen and Loman play “Raga”

Elizabeth Hainen has unearthed this video of her 2007 performance of Caroline Lizotte’s Raga with Judy Loman. The live concert took place at the Curtis Institute of Music as a benefit for Hainen’s Lyra Society, and I had the pleasure of being in the audience! This was the first time I had heard the piece, or any of Lizotte’s music. If you have yet to experience Lizotte’s original writing for the harp you’re in for a treat. The video quality may not be the best, but we know you’ll love hearing these two amazing harpists in a rare duo performance. Enjoy!
