Edinburgh Harp Festival Announces Program

The Edinburgh Harp Festival, which will take place April 5–10, 2013, at Merchiston Castle School, in Edinburgh, has announced its 2013 lineup of performers. This marks the 32nd year of the folk-harp geared festival, currently under the leadership of Festival Coordinator Mary Scott, and Jennifer Port, Convenor of The Clarsach Society, which sponsors the event. Artists to perform include Edmar Castaneda; Park Stickney; Corrina Hewat; Sirin Pancaroglu and and Meric Donuk of Elisi (Handcraft); the festival orchestra with Gillean Mcdougall led by Isobel Mieras; the International Harp Ensemble directed by Luisa Cordell; Savourna Stevenson with the Edinburgh Quartet; Michelle Mulcahy, and many others.
