Composer and friend of the harp Conrad Susa died on Nov. 21.

Composer Conrad Susa died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013, at 78. Susa was a friend of the harp who wrote many great harp parts for works such as Carols and Lullabies; Christmas in the Southwest (Susa, Conrad) and Serenade for a Christmas Night (Susa, Conrad). Susa joined the faculty of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 1988, where he served as Chair of the Composition Department. Read more about him in the San Francisco Chronicle.
