Bearing location, shipping and budget in mind…….Just reply with the name of the harp you’d pick from those choices….

    Thanks in advance… 🙂

depends on if this will be your only harp? If so the Camac 27, nice range, portability, tone. If not your only harp, I may go with 22, depending on how portable you need. If you need more durability due to travel, maybe the Harpsicle would be best.. it all depends on what you want out of the harp.

Thanks guys…. With budget constraints in mind I went and got the Camac 22……couldn’t believe how different the sound is to my Pakistani one… :-))))))). It feels so much better on the fingers…. I know for sure it won’t always be my only harp but for the moment I’m very happy with it….

congratulations Catherine. I really like the Bardic 22s. They sound so bright and cheery. So nice and easy to bring here and there. Must be a big change from your other harp! Most lap harps are bigger and you need to put legs on them or prop them up. The 22 looks like it would be fun to try to place on a table and I bet it’s small enough for backpacking.

It’s a lovely looking harp Deb….and yes, it’s a huge change especially on terms of sound… Even though the Pakistani one had 36 strings, I would say on average only about 25 of them were useable regarding tone etc….. I’m really pleased with the new one…..going to start saving for the next one now…:-)

Well, here’s the first tune I played on the Bardic 22…..not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but I tried…:-)… if anyone has any constructive criticism I really would appreciate it….thanks..

Thanks Deb…..I’m afraid that it’s not my own composition…. ‘The Sprightly Widow’ comes from a beginners book called ‘Sounding Harps – Book 1’….and it says that it’s from the Stanford Petrie Collection…. The book is published by Cairde na Cruite…… I think there’s about four books in the series…..some lovely tunes in it.
