    Hi all,

I was hoping someone on this forum might be able to provide me with some advice. I am trying to determine the value of my harp for insurance purposes. I have a 22 year old Aoyama Vega (which I purchased about 10 years ago). Although the instrument is in good condition, I recognize that its value has likely changed over the years. Are there people qualified to appraise harps?

    Thanks,

    Robyn

    Hi Robyn,

I would contact a harp tech. OR possibly a harp center.

If you’re in the US, I would contact Marni Williams, who’s been the importer for Aoyama for many years, and ask her:

You may want to visit with your insurance agent.

Thanks so much for your responses! I’m from Canada, but I’ll try and get in touch with Marni anyway to see if she can provide me with some insight.

I am looking for a professional harp appraiser in the Albany New York area.
