    Dear all,
    The copyright for Hindemith’s works have recently expired in Canada (where IMSLP is hosted and where copyright is life + 50 years) and I think now would be a great time to collect Hindemith’s works which use the harp (like the Sonata for Harp, Concert music for Piano, Brass and Harps, or even the Concerto for Winds, Harp and Orchestra) in one place so that it can easily be accessed by all harpists.

    Most of Hindemith’s works, although not under copyright in Canada, China, Japan, S. Korea, are protected in the U.S, and Europe.
    It would be illegal to post links or scans of the music that could be downloaded in those countries.

    Only Hindermith: Nuschi- Nuschi ©1921 Kalmus A6990, which has a harp part is PD in the U.S.

    The IMSLP notice: These works may not be in the public domain in the US (due to first publication with the required notice after 1922) in the EU and those countries where the copyright term is life+70 years. However, they may be public domain in Canada (where IMSLP is hosted) and in other countries (China, Japan, S. Korea) where the copyright term is life+50 years.
