Hi all,

I was wondering if you know of any works for piano and harp? My teacher told me of a piece by Salzedo but I can’t seem to find it on youtube. I’ve come across a harp and piano duet by Dussek, but that’s all I’ve found so far!
If you do know of any pieces, please let me know!! 😀

You may want to try Simple Gifts for Organ/Harp arr. Daniel Burton. He also has a two-harp arrangement of Simple Gifts.

Pieces that are rounds can work well with piano and harp. You can experiment with two harp arrangements. A Christmas Canon by Janet Witman is a two-harp arrangement that sounds good with piano and harp.

The Salzedo harp/piano piece name escapes me but you can hear it on Soundcloud if you do a keyword search. I do not know how anyone ever played the piece. I have never heard anything that difficult.

I love to play Faure’s Romance without Words arranged by Daniel Burton for piano and harp. I also play the piano solo which is more difficult! The Faure harp part is easy – about a million times easier than the salzedo…However if you are both amazingly good the Ravel Introduction and Allegro has a piano and harp arrangment.
