    After some time, another string broke on my Triplett harp. I’d forgotten that the hole in the tuning pins is right next to the body of the instrument. The string in question is the E, although it appears I was equally inept with the D string as well at some time.

    Try as I might, I couldn’t get the string to wrap the pin evenly (as on the F string), especially as it has to go over the bridge pin at the beginning of the replacement process. The Triplett site is no help, as the video shows a regular pin and the string wrapping toward the harp.
