    Hey! I’m looking to join a casual/community orchestra in the Lake County / Northern Illinois area, but I’m not really sure how to go about finding one.

    I’ve played in multiple orchestras every semester before graduating college (there was always a shortage of harpists), but I was a music minor, so I’m a little unsure about the “right” way to approach community groups outside of a university setting.

    If anyone has suggestions for orchestras, Facebook groups, or general tips on where to start, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
