I recently wrote to the publisher in the hopes that they will reprint this wonderful piece, as it was printed incorrectly insofar as the starting page is wrong, so that the notations to turn the page are not there on the page turns, but at the fold.
I am wondering what Clint Nieweg’s role was in the publication, as he is mentioned in the foreword. I advocated for publishing this piece over several years, and even copied it out completely.
It should be standard repertoire, but because it was released with zero fanfare, as has happened with other significant works, such as The Evening Bell by Mendelssohn, I don’t know if anyone noticed. I have yet to see it required by a competition.
