    Hello fellow Harpists,
I am in Italy at the moment and want to visit the Victor Salvi harp museum in Piasco. We booked tickets to Italy 8 months ago from Australia and have just found out now we are here that the museum is closed and no information on the website tells when it will reopen. I have called the Salvi Milan showroom but they said they don’t think it will be open this month. Does anyone know any more about the situation. I was so looking forward to going. I have booked a time in the Milan showroom to try out the pedal harps.
    Thanks Lisa.

Just a heads up for those travelling to Italy, the Victor Salvi harp museum is closed for some time. I am writing this because their website says closed momentarily, just ring the day before you visit. Then when you ring, the message says closed for the holidays. But it does not have a set reopening date yet. I believe there is some restoration work in progress.
The showroom in Milan is very good though, but best to ring ahead and make a booking. Davide is very helpful.
