    I know there has been a lot of discussion here about harp benches. After reading some of the posts, I ordered a custom bench from BBR Woodworks.

    Rod, I just got my bench from BBR Woodworks on Saturday, too! The bench is gorgeous and the quality of his craftsmanship is wonderful. I love the storage area as well. I couldn’t be happier with it, and it was well worth the price. Plus, Ron is great to work with and very accommodating. I would also recommend his benches to any harpist.

    How much does this stool/bench weigh?

    I am looking into getting an actual harp stool, since the one I have now is falling apart and not quite high enough for me. However, weight and portablility are my two biggest concerns. The elegant design of these benches is a bonus, since I can get one to match my instrument (a Salvi semi-grand)
