Hi. After a two year hiatus, I’m returning to harp playing as an adult beginner. I have a Rees Harpsicle and a Lyon-Healy Troubadour. Would a bench or piano stool style work better for me for the types of harps that I have? I’m not very tall, if that figures into it. Thanks.

I’m short too! I’ve been using a piano stool style(padded) and I find it hard to sit for a prolonged period (more than 1/2 hour).

Even though I own a recital bench, I prefer using the gig bench that is sold on the harp.com site (L&H West?). It is adjustable.
