Megumi Nakamura has internationally appeared as soloist with orchestras including Slovenia Armed Forces Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and Kyushu Wind Orchestra, and annually given recitals at Tokyo’s prestigious Hamarikyu Asahi Hall since 2022, where she Japan-premiered “Rondo” by Burgmüller (op.1) originally written for harp. In 2024 she took part in a world-wide album “Johan de Meij : Casanova” as soloist with Johan de Meij himself on the podium, and in 2025 they will together give the world-premiere of the “Danse sacrée et Danse profane” for harp and orchestra by Debussy/De Meij, which was specially arranged for and dedicated to her.
