Willi Maerz has arranged the traditional Japanese folksong “Sakura” for four pedal harps and choir (SA). One of the few known songs from the era of Japanese Seclusion (1630 – 1853) this music is set in the original Japanese pentatonic scale (a-b-c-e-f).
