Trista Hill’s Cerulean (Firedance) is for solo pedal harp. This piece expounds on Hill’s waltz of the same name. Its B section “features a sound from another time and place and an opportunity for improvisation,” says Hill. Note from the Composer

“Cerulean” was originally written for my students, and debuted publicly at Somerset Harp Festival in 2015 as a group harp piece with percussion. (If you would like a copy of the group version, please be in touch).
