Tamsin Dearnley’s “Piece V” is for solo lever harp. It is the fifth and final movement from Dearnley’s Suite for Lever Harp. Inspired in part by Ligeti’s “Devil’s Staircase,” this bold, rhythm-driven piece explores unexpected harmonies through a unique tuning of alternating E and E-flat octaves.
