Shoshanna Godber has arranged the traditional 19th century folk song “Lakes of Pontchartrain” for lever or pedal harp and voice or C instrument. The melody in the introduction and the interlude between verses is from a traditional Creole song called “La belle Françoise.” Versions in both F major and D major are included for different vocal ranges as well as treble clef and bass clef melody parts for C instruments.
