Note from the composer

This original composition was inspired by a retreat in the North Carolina mountains, where a butterfly bush was just outside the cabin. A group of beautiful, multicolored butterflies had taken up residence there and a tune popped into my head when I saw them frolicking about. I subsequently found an anonymous quote online that read, “Butterflies are God’s confetti, thrown upon the Earth in celebration of His love.” Hence, this original composition was born. It is at an easy intermediate level, in the key of C, with no lever or pedal changes.
